Domkraft formed in 2014 out of the desire to play heavy music with a psychedelic touch, taking equal inspiration from classic riff-mongers and minimalist psych acts. Three albums, two EPs and one split record later, that desire remains, though more nuances have found their way into the music.
Domkraft’s 2021 album Seeds was widely and critically acclaimed, landing up on numerous year-ending Top 10s for heavy music. Sonic Moons continues where Seeds left off, perhaps slightly more focused, perhaps not. It is a collection of songs meant to be performed live, and the band intends to do so from late 2023 and all the way through 2024.
